I Bought Inner Bloom 18 Months Ago. I Did Absolutely Fuck All With It.

I bought Inner Bloom 18 months ago and then did absolutely fuck all with it. Not because it wasn't good. Because I wasn't ready.

Let me start by saying something that probably isn''t going to make me look like the world''s best affiliate.
I bought Inner Bloom about 18 months ago.
And then I did absolutely fuck all with it.
Not because it wasn''t good.
Because I wasn''t ready.
I was looking for a big flashing sign
At the time, I think I was looking for something to magically make sense of my life. A quick answer. A quick fix. Something that would heal me, or at least fix me a little bit.
I was looking for a reason.
A purpose.
Some sort of big flashing sign saying, THIS. THIS IS WHAT YOU''RE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING.
Instead, I was trying to do approximately 1,037,441,873 things at once.
I was working around 50 hours a week in hospitality.
I was grieving the recent loss of my dad.
I''d moved back to my hometown — which, by the way, is probably one of the most depressing places I''ve ever lived.
And while doing all of that, I was also exploring approximately another 1,037,441,873 reasons why working for myself would probably be better for me.
Because apparently doing less wasn''t an option.
I needed answers.
I needed direction.
I needed to figure my shit out.
And preferably, I needed to do it immediately.
The problem was never that I didn''t have the tools
I had plenty of them.
I just wasn''t actually stopping long enough to use them.
Inner Bloom was sitting there the entire time.
And I was basically walking past it going:
"Yeah, I''ll get round to that."
Eighteen months later...
Here we are.
The funny thing is
I think I originally bought Inner Bloom because I wanted to change my life.
But changing your life sounds much easier when you''re imagining it from the outside.
Actually changing things?
That''s uncomfortable.
Especially when you''ve built an entire identity around being independent.
I''m an independent woman.
A neurodivergent loner.
I genuinely love my own company.
I''ve become more introverted with every passing year and, honestly, I''m increasingly protective of my peace.
Chaos, however, seems to have a fucking homing device for me.
I choose peace where I can.
Chaos tends to find me anyway.
Whether it''s my dog suddenly dying.
Or getting injured on the actual day I turned 40.
Because apparently a birthday wasn''t dramatic enough without adding a fucked-up knee to the itinerary.
And then the injury happened
And as frustrating as it has been, something unexpected happened.
It slowed me down.
Properly.
Not "I''ll take Sunday off and then answer 47 emails" slowed down.
Actually slowed down.
Even my brain slowed down.
And somewhere in that enforced pause, I started getting some clarity.
For the first time in a long time, I wasn''t constantly reacting to the next thing.
I had space to think.
Space to question what I actually wanted.
Space to look at what I''d been doing and ask:
Do I actually want this anymore?
And perhaps more importantly:
Who am I when I''m not constantly trying to survive, fix, achieve or keep everything moving?
That''s when Inner Bloom finally started making sense to me
Not because it suddenly became different.
I did.
Inner Bloom became the foundation.
I stopped looking at it as something that was going to fix me.
Because, spoiler alert, I''m not actually broken.
Neither are you.
Sometimes we''re just exhausted.
Disconnected.
Overwhelmed.
Trying to be everything to everyone while secretly wondering what the fuck we''re doing with our own lives.
For me, Inner Bloom gave me a foundation to actually start doing something about it.
And yes, it was still outside my comfort zone.
The community element especially.
Because, again...
Professional loner.
But I knew I had to make changes.
Not for Instagram.
Not because I suddenly wanted to become some perfectly balanced wellness woman who meditates at sunrise and drinks green juice while journaling about abundance.
For me.
I had to start choosing myself.
And that''s where things started shifting.
It isn''t just one thing
That''s probably what I like about Inner Bloom.
It''s not one giant course telling you how to live your life.
It''s more like having a toolbox.
There''s yoga.
Life coaching.
Manifestation.
Self-love.
Business.
Personal development.
Community.
And more than 50 coaches and courses to explore.
You can take what you need.
Ignore what you don''t.
Come back when you''re ready.
There isn''t some imaginary deadline where you''ve failed because you haven''t transformed your entire existence by Tuesday.
And honestly?
That''s exactly what I needed.
Because I''ve spent enough of my life feeling like I should be further ahead.
I don''t need another thing shouting at me to hustle harder.
I need things that help me come back to myself.
So why now?
Because I finally realised I wasn''t looking for a quick fix.
I was looking for a foundation.
There''s a big difference.
A quick fix gives you somewhere to hide from the actual work.
A foundation gives you somewhere to start.
And I think that''s what the last few months have really taught me.
Sometimes life has to slow you down before you realise how fucking fast you''ve been living.
The injury forced me to stop.
Stopping gave me space.
Space gave me clarity.
And clarity made me realise that I don''t actually want to keep building a life that constantly requires me to recover from it.
I want something different.
Something slower.
Something that feels like mine.
Something that gives me room to breathe.
Less rush. More glow.
And maybe that''s what Inner Bloom was always supposed to be for me.
Not the answer.
Not the magic fix.
Just the place I could finally start.
Eighteen months after buying it.
Better late than never, eh?
And if you''re reading this thinking, "I bought something like this months ago and haven''t even logged in..."
Honestly?
Same.
Maybe you''re not lazy.
Maybe you''re not failing.
Maybe you just weren''t ready yet.
And maybe when you are, you''ll know exactly where to start.
